What happens at our swimming class

Swimming takes place twice a week for all students in our onsite Hydrotherapy pool.Our classes are 30 minutes long.

We begin with warm up and drills, i.e kicking and arm movements. We then have an Aquafit session using woggles, these are long foam supports which  help to develop muscle tone and body form. It also creates awareness of which muscles are needed to control the movement of our limbs.

There is a lot of  focus and counting involved in our swim class.

For the  last 10 minutes we play interactive games such as water basketball.
